Project subsidized by GEER ARP EANS FundsThe Gíbaro de Puerto Rico project provides cultural activities that contribute to recognizing, valuing and extolling Puerto Rican traditions, culture and folklore. These activities encourage people and families to congregate within a framework of music and joy, providing healthy entertainment and at the same time educating. They are educational spaces that contribute to our students' learning about folklore and identification with the culture and distinctive features of Puerto Ricanness.
Gíbaro from Puerto Rico presents Aguinaldo Jíbaro; Christmas Assault, a musical production that takes place in the current time. It is about one of our most recognized traditions, Christmas parties. This work, aimed exclusively at students of the Department of Education, will take place at the Santurce Fine Arts Center.

It is about one of our most recognized traditions, Christmas parties. In the piece, in a very entertaining way and through words, movement and music, a Christmas party is represented to an ordinary family in our country. Confusion occurs in it, but the spirit of Christmas and its meaning of love, hope and understanding makes the whole mess created at the beginning end happily and in harmony.
